Looking for a romantic skating getaway with lakeside views? The locals here in Chapala, Jalisco have a skatepark right next to the lake! Yesterday I watched the sunset over the lake while kids busted tricks on their skateboards, bikes and rollerblades. Here's a couple of pics as well as a video I found of Max Barrera.

Park Jam Keeps it Roots in Long Beach

Djs, Bboys, Bgirls, and local community centers. Long Beach Park Jam was a beautiful experience of the community sharing food, dancing and enjoying the sun together.

Art in Wilmas: WECAN's One Year Anniversary

Last night I attended the one year anniversary of WECAN (Wilmington Enrichment Community Artist Network) at Slanguage Art Studio in Wilmas, California. WECAN puts on art events in Wilmington featuring local artists and it is truly an asset to the Wilmington Community. The One Year Anniversary came complete with live performances and a complementary candy table (pictured below). I also picked up a WECAN t-shirt which I am looking forward to wearing! Keep up the good work!
